Week starting 30th March

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a good week. I was thinking about you last week and thought I bet you are all growing lots! This week try to measure yourself and then when we come back to school you can measure yourself again and we can see how much growing you have been doing during this time apart. I hope you all got to spend some time outside in the lovely sun, I saw lots of butterflies flying around and was thinking about the caterpillars we would have been getting in our class next half term. I've uploaded a picture of different types of butterflies, if you spot one maybe you could look at the picture and see if you can identify it.

Well done to all those people who managed to log on to reading eggs this week and complete the lesson I set, I will be setting another one today. Don't worry if you didn't manage to log on and complete the lesson last week I know the sun was shining and it was your first week at home and it takes a little time to settle in to a new routine.

Well done to Leslie for completing the time capsule task, you worked so hard and put a lot of effort in. This will be a great thing to keep and share with others in the future as we are all making history right now.

Ryan also created a wonderful fish tank out of a cardboard box - what a great idea!

I know lots of people have been taking part in the daily Joe Wicks PE lesson, I've managed to do one everyday and I'm loving them.

I've uploaded the list of books that Oliver Jeffers will be reading this week and Oti Mabuse is doing musical themed dance lessons this week.

I've made lots of sections on the remote learning page on our website with ideas to keep you all busy. There is no pressure to complete them all but I thought I would just share lovely things as I find them. Please keep work or take pictures of anything you have done over this time, I'd love to see them when we're all back at school.

I had a look over your big write books last week - I'll be honest I had been putting it off as Mrs Pritchett told me you had written to me when I had, had to leave you in the last week and I knew I would cry! What great work you all completed, I'm so unbelievably proud of you all!

This week I'd like you all to try and complete one thing from the life skills section, pick something with your grown ups, learn a new skill and be helpful around the house.

Take care, keep safe, smiling and washing your hands!

Miss Wilson
