Good morning Everybody
Eid Mubarak to all our families who are celebrating.
How are you all getting on? We are thinking of you and really looking forward to when we can be back together.
I'm a bit late this week as yesterday was so sunny I spent it in the garden with cups of tea and my watering can. I wonder what you've been up to.
It's half term this week so no new activities but I am adding a little story link. I wonder if the Sunshines will remember a story called The Hug that we shared - the hedgehog and tortoise met in the middle of the book didn't they. Well this story is about how hedgehog and tortoise are getting on in lockdown. It's as lovely as the pictures and is called While We Can't Hug.
There are a lot of new flowers and blossom everywhere and I've been looking at the numbers in them; counting groups of leaves and petals. You'd be amazed that there are numbers everywhere when you look, so keep counting.
Last week Miss Wilson put the She'll be coming round the mountain story I read on the school's youtube channel and it made me think that we could probably write our own story like that one. Have a little think. Maybe 'He'll be jumping over the pond when he comes' or 'they'll be skipping round the hall when they come'! Have a think of who and where they are and send me your ideas by email and I can put them all together for a new story.
Mr Thompson has made a Where's Wally style teacher hunt and I've attached it below. Good luck with finding all the grown ups, apparently there are 28!
Keep safe, well and happy everyone. Keep shaking your sillies, jiggling your jollies, hopping your happies, rocking your rainbows and having fun.
Lots of love
