Hello Sunshines and Rainbows
We are very sorry that we won't be together for our learning for the next few days. We are hoping to have some online learning up on the home learning section of the website by this afternoon and I will update these over the week.
Take care everyone and we look forward to being back with you in school soon.
Hello Sunshine families
Just to let you know that the Home learning pack explanation is now in the home learning section. From Monday, there will be a daily phonics and maths lesson for you to follow and join in with.
Good Morning Sunshines
We hope that you had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed your family time.
We are sorry that we won't be seeing you all today but we will be sending you a home learning pack so you can keep up your fab learning and share with your parents all you know. There will be activities and videos here on the website too.
Stay Sunny Sunshines and take good care. I'll speak to you soon.
Love Mrs D
We are so pleased that everyone has joined school safe and sound and that you are enjoying learning and making new friends.
Thank you to all the grown ups for your help at drop off and pick up time. We know things aren’t quite as we’d like them so please feel free to use our unit email for queries and communication. firstname.lastname@example.org
In the Sunshine class, our activities are based around getting to know each other, our families, autumn time and going on a bear hunt. We are learning our phonemes, blending them together to read words. Watch this space for helping with reading meeting news. Our maths is based on early number sense; counting, finding the parts of numbers, subtilising ( recognising smaller amounts visually ), recording amounts and early addition.
Don’t forget that every day you will need your water bottle ( no juice please) and school bag. Sharing stories books are changed each Friday.
As the weather gets chillier please ensure that your child is able to put on and fasten their coat for themselves. School shoes should not be laced if possible as the children are unable to do them themselves and we are having to tie laces regularly. Velcro is best.
Every good wish for the Autumn term to all our families. Please let us know if you have any worries or concerns.
Keep on sharing those stories everyone.
Mrs Davie, Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Lees
