Dear Parents, Carers and Children!
I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing week.
Just a quick reminder that we will be starting our swimming lessons on Wednesday 27th February 2019 and that everybody has the right swimming attire. Parents and Carers please be aware that we might be back a little later as the children have to get used to getting themselves changed and walk back from the swimming pool. The children can be collected from the classroom and not from the front of the school.
Children in Class 3, don't forget your times tables practice and keep up the reading. We will be having a little times tables competition when we get back.
I have attached our new Timetable, have a good look and familiarise yourself with PE sessions and our swimming day.
See you all soon,
Dear Parents/Carers and Children!
The half term holidays are nearly there and I would like to tell you a little bit about the changes to PE after half term.
We will be learning how to play netball, on a Tuesday afternoon, and depending on the weather, this will take place outside. As the days get cooler your child needs the appropriate outdoor PE kit, especially the correct footwear. Our 2nd PE session is indoors and will be Dance.
Your child will bring home an 'Autumn Holiday Workbook'. The book has a variety of work through which your child can work independently, as this is only a re-visit to the topics we have covered in class. The books are differentiated to your child. However, the reading comprehension can be completed with some help.
I told the children that it is up to them how much or little they are completing in the holidays. However, the more they are doing, the better it will be for their own understanding and confidence.
I am wishing everybody a lovely break,
