We had a great start to the year with a busy and productive Spring term. The children enjoyed their Day and Night and Pets and Animals themes. This term we are focussing on Out and About and we hope to take advantage of the good spring and summer weather to spend much of our time outside learning. We will be being nature detectives, making maps, sending letters and thinking about where we live.
After half term we will be visiting Manor Farm at East Leake to experience meeting many creatures including donkeys and owls, following the nature trail and climbing aboard the Pirate Ship.
We were thrilled to have some of our outdoor features painted before the holidays by a wonderful team of our Mums - huge thanks for this help.
PE is still each Monday and kit (white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls or trainers) should be brought in each week. We should also have opportunities for plenty of outside PE too.
Wednesday is our main day for hearing individual readers but please send in book bags each day as we may get chance for extra on other days.
Please do ask if you have any questions or concerns.
